Empowering Teachers. Fostering Inclusive and Future-Ready Learning for Schools and Communities.
About Us
OHO Learning is a Nepali EdTech initiative dedicated to empowering teachers to meet the challenges of today’s classroom teaching. Its prime focus is to disrupt the ‘banking education model’ and replace it with meaningful pedagogical practices.
OHO Learning envisions life-wide education for students by leveraging appropriate digital technology. OHO Learning’s digital platform leverages appropriate digital technology to provide teachers with practical tools, relevant knowledge, and context-driven skills. By doing so, OHO Learning helps educators create inclusive, engaging, and future-ready learning environments for students across Nepal.
At its core, OHO Learning is more than an EdTech platform. It is a movement to strengthen education in Nepal by empowering teachers and inspiring students to thrive in the demanding times of the present century.
Teacher Development & Capacity Building
We empower educators with skills in digital tools, STEAM, active learning, fair evaluation, subject mastery, and academic writing, helping them innovate and prepare students for future-ready learning.
Sustainable Technology Infrastructure
We provide low-cost computer labs, offline servers (digital libraries), and solar-powered systems to create resilient, technology-enabled learning environments. All systems are designed to operate without the internet, making them accessible even in the most remote locations.
Access to High-Quality Educational Content
We develop, curate, and distribute curriculum-aligned digital content tailored for learners of different ages, languages, and abilities. Our resources are inclusive and accessible, supporting children with visual impairments, dyslexia, and other learning needs, ensuring that every student can participate and thrive.
Local Collaboration & Ownership
By collaborating with schools, parents, local governments, and institutions, we foster community engagement and strengthen local ownership. This ensures that educational programs are sustainable, meaningful, and deeply connected to local needs and contexts.
